John Black has spent 30 years as an electronics engineer, specializing in the high-stakes world of ATE (Automated Test Equipment). After three decades of finding out exactly why systems fail, he’s taking those observations to the stage. Originally from Alaska and now based in Texas, John’s comedy style is built on short-story observations from a life spent in the lab. He is best known in the engineering world for his greatest career achievement: once getting a group of engineers to actually agree on something.
